Circle Angle Arc features encaustic paintings by Martha Pfanschmidt and metal sculptures by Nancy Wilkins. This new work describes how underlying structures of shape and form are ever-changing and evolving, creating both a perception of permanence and impermanence at the same time. Everything we see has a structure. Circle, angle and arc are some of the structural elements underlying all. They hold everything up. Still everything falls apart and changes shape: all is in motion, sometimes precarious, sometimes balanced.
