Waterstone Gallery’s September show, “ANTIFRAGILITY: Obsessions with Stress and Randomness”, celebrates new sculptural works by Kristy Kún and Greg Wilbur. Inspired by mathematician Nassim Nicholas Taleb's concept of Antifragility, both artists believe that things only get better when exposed to stress or volatility. And although their art is achieved in a controlled way, both artists willingly let the muse of happy accidents guide their way. We hope Kún's intricate textile pieces, and Wilbur's perfectly imperfect raised metal vessels open your eyes to the resilience and beautiful randomness in the world around us.
